what can i expect during my first visit FOR TESTOSTERONE THERAPY?

New patients will have labs drawn and a modified physical exam. You will be interviewed one-on-one by one of our highly-trained providers. We will answer all of your questions and concerns. Your labs, along with your signs & symptoms, will determine your course of therapy options. New visits typically takes about 60 minutes.

Do i have to make an appointment?

Appointments are preferred and guarantee your time without waiting. Walk-ins are welcome but you may have to wait for an available opening, which may not be available on that day.

Do I have to fast before having my labs drawn?

No. However, biotin interferes with some lab values. Biotin is also termed vitamin B7 or B8, vitamin H, or coenzyme R. Patients should stop biotin consumption at least 72 hours prior to their lab draw.

How long do labs results take?

Lab results vary by the type of test. Most laboratory results are available within 1 business day. A few results take longer. For example, the "free testosterone" result can take up to 7 days.

How often do i need an appointment for Testosterone?

After your first initial visit, you'll be scheduled for a follow-up visit in 6 weeks to see how you're feeling, review symptoms, repeat labs, adjust medications, answer all your questions, etc. Then, you'll only need a follow-up appointment every 6 months. 

  1. First Visit
  2. Follow-Up Visit (6 weeks later)
  3. Subsequent Follow-Up Visits (every 6 months)

Do you take insurance?

  • We do not accept insurance because Insurance plans often require standardized treatment protocols, restrictive coverage policies, and impose restrictions on medication choices and dosing. 
  • Our philosophy is different. We provide individualized care, tailoring medication type, dosing, and monitoring to each patient’s unique physiology and goals. This personalized approach often falls outside traditional insurance reimbursement models. 
  • By not participating with insurance, we maintain the freedom to deliver truly customized care focused on patient optimization rather than insurance guidelines. 
  • We do not participate with insurance plans. All services are self-pay, and payment is due at the time services are rendered. While we are not in-network with insurance plans, we are happy to provide a detailed receipt with CPT and diagnosis codes. Many patients choose to submit this documentation to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their coverage. 

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account) cards, and cash. We do not accept checks.

What is your $99/month membership pLAN?

Our $99/month membership plan (12-month minimum) is designed to make high-quality care affordable, and stress-free for our patients.


For one low monthly fee, you receive comprehensive care without per-visit charges or worrying about unexpected costs, including:


  • All routine office visits
  • All routine laboratory testing
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy services (quarterly, if required).
  • All medications and unlimited prescription refills sent to your pharmacy
  • Unlimited communication with your provider


Your membership is billed monthly on the date of your initial appointment, and your $99 'New Patient Visit' scheduling deposit is applied toward your first month.


If additional visits or labs are medically necessary, then they're covered under your membership — no surprise bills, no hidden fees.

Can my wife/girlfriend be treated at your clinic?

Yes, we treat women. You may schedule on our website or call us to schedule an appointment: 385-501-0055.

can i choose what pharmacy my prescription is sent?

Yes! We will electronically send your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. 

WHAT IS YOUR LATE ARRIVAL POLICY?

Patients are asked to arrive at their appointments before their scheduled appointment time. This allows enough time for the registration process to be completed before the actual appointment time.


A grace period of 15 minutes will be permitted for unforeseen delays a patient may encounter while travelling to the clinic for their appointment. 


If a patient arrives more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, the patient will be charged $99 and given the option of either being seen that day as a walk-in, if the schedule permits. This process ensures patients that do arrive on time are seen in a timely manner. 

WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW / CANCELLATION POLICY?

A “No Show” is a patient who fails to appear for a scheduled appointment without providing a 24-hour cancellation notice. Further, a rescheduled appointment that is less than the 24-hour cancellation notice is still considered a cancellation and is treated as such. There is a $99 charge for all No-Show / Cancellation visits within 24 hours of the appointment.


To assist the patient in keeping appointments, they are given multiple electronic reminders via emails, texts, and phone calls. All reminders are documented in the patient’s electronic health record (EHR). Following the reminder, the patient is responsible for cancelling or rescheduling the appointment no less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.


It is the responsibility of the patient receiving the reminder to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If the patient’s phone is “out of service” or not receiving texts or calls, the patient is still responsible for keeping the scheduled appointment.


Patients who have three (3) No-Show appointments and/or cancellations will no longer be permitted to schedule appointments and will only be seen on a walk-in basis.
